Tips & Tricks

Who better to give tips and tricks on how to prepare for the most epic night of your life on the Charm City Pedal Mill, than the drivers and managers themselves? We are the consummate professionals on what to do (& what not to do) in preparation for your Pedal Mill tour. Read on for tips and tricks to make your tour the best we’ve seen yet!

Amanda: Don’t wear heels. You’re going to be riding a bike…like actually powering it. If they’re really going to make or break your outfit, then bring some flops for the pedaling portion of the evening.

BeccaWear a sports bra or double up if you have big boobs...it gets bouncy on the cobblestones.

JakeEat before your tour! Two reasons: 1) It's tough to order and finish food in the time allotted at each bar & 2) You really don't want to do this on an empty stomach. Ale Mary's (one of our favorite bars in the area) is a great place to grab some pre-tour grub.

KateNo need to pre-game...three bars in two hours gets you a lot tipsier than you think it will. And if you don't get tipsy, you are doing it wrong!

Piper: Dress comfortably. Think going to the game, not going to tha club. Fun, ridiculous accessories (glow-in-the-dark!!!) are highly encouraged.

Elizabeth: You are going to be the center of attention as you roll down Thames and up Broadway, so prep your cheeks for a lot of laughter and smiles, and do some shoulder raises to prep yourself for all of the waving to the astonished onlookers.
